What does SteadyCheck do? #
SteadyCheck is your reliable safety app for regular check-ins – simple and for your protection. Confirm regularly with a tap of your finger that “I’m fine!” If you miss a check-in, your emergency contacts will be notified automatically.
How often do I need to check in? #
Flexible intervals: 24, 48, or 72 hours—at a fixed time. You decide.
What happens if I miss my check-in? #
Your stored emergency contacts will be notified by email or text message, depending on the settings for each contact. You can choose between German or English for each contact.
How many contacts can I set up? #
Up to 8 emergency contacts – Premium Lite (6, email), Premium+ (4, email/SMS), Premium+ Extended (8, email/SMS).

Data protection? #
Encrypted transmission and data stored on German servers. You can delete your account yourself at any time—all data will be removed immediately and irrevocably. After the subscription ends: The data will be automatically deleted after 90 days.

Perfect for people living alone, single parents, solo travelers, or simply for greater peace of mind. Can be used internationally and without complicated setup.
When exactly will the emergency notification be sent? #
The safety of our users is our top priority, but technology is dependent on various factors. As soon as a check-in period is exceeded, our system initiates the sending of notifications. Please note the following points:

System intervals: Our server checks at regular intervals (currently every 30 minutes) whether all due check-ins have been completed. Depending on when your window expired, it may take until the next system check before shipping is initiated.

Delivery by service providers: We immediately forward the message to specialized delivery partners (e.g., SMS gateways or email providers). We have no direct influence on their internal processing times or possible overloads in the mobile networks.

Internet connection: In order for your check-in to be registered, you need a stable internet connection at the time of check-in. If you do not check in (e.g., due to a dead spot), the system will consider this a “missed” check-in and prepare the shipment.

Reception by emergency contact: The recipient of the message must also have network reception in order to receive the notification promptly.
Important note: Our service is intended as additional support. It does not replace professional home emergency call or medical emergency call systems, as 100% real-time delivery can never be guaranteed technically.
Are there any limits? #
To prevent abuse and limit unnecessary costs, the number of automatic notifications per subscription is limited.
With the Premium Lite subscription, users have a maximum of 18 email notifications per month. With the Premium+ subscription, the quota is a maximum of 12 emails, while with the Premium+ Extended subscription, this increases to a maximum of 24 emails per month. With the Premium+ subscription, users have a maximum of 4 SMS notifications per month at their disposal. With the Premium+ Extended subscription, this quota increases to 8 SMS notifications per month.
The respective email and SMS quota is automatically reset each month.
Once the SMS quota has been reached, further notifications will automatically be sent exclusively by email to the stored contacts. Once the email quota has been reached, no further notifications will be sent. You will be informed by email as soon as the respective email limit has been reached.
Delete app? #
All data will be deleted from your device. However, the data will remain on the server. To delete all data, please delete your account within the app.
