For us, 2023 was a year full of significant milestones and commitment to important causes. Our desire to do good was reflected in our support for Wilderness International and Children’s Cancer Aid Mainz.
Our decision to make an annual donation to Wilderness International helped to protect a piece of land in the unique Misty Forest on Porcher Island in British Columbia. This support preserves pristine forests and upland bogs that serve as habitat for rare animals such as coastal wolves and majestic bald eagles. In addition, it helped offset 6,000 kg of CO2, making a significant contribution to protecting the environment and preserving this valuable ecosystem for future generations.
The decision to make every (in-)app purchase a donation to the Children’s Cancer Aid Mainz was an important step in our mission to help others. Since mid-2021, we have already raised €600 through our ENNIA apps for this initiative. Cancer research for children is an investment in future generations, requires considerable resources and a sustained effort. It is important to stand together for pediatric cancer research and treatment. Every euro donated and every helping hand is a step in the right direction.
In terms of our ENNIA app, we were proud to see a growing community of 33,500 users utilizing our app as an important resource for emergency calls and emergency response. With over 3,500+ emergency calls and 175+ resuscitations (since statistics began), the app has helped save lives and provide assistance in emergency situations.
For the coming year, we have announced the update of the ENNIA app to version 4.0, which will be released in the first half of 2024. This version will not only be available for Android, but also for iOS. The update includes a major overhaul of the user interface, new features and improved usability of the app.
